Ten More Cordbearers

Dear Friends,

I have been informed that, on Thursday May 17 (Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord), ten cordbearers were received into the Archconfraternity of the Cord of St. Francis in St. Mary's, Kansas.  Deo gratias!  This brings the number of cordbearers in that area to approximately sixty!

Eight More Novices

Dear Friends,

I am overjoyed to inform you that eight postulants have joined the Third Order Secular of St. Francis as novices.  Deo gratias!  Sr. Mary Frances of Post Falls, Idaho sent me the pictures below of the clothing ceremony which took place at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday May 17 (Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord).  Fr. Vassal of the Society of St. Pius X conducted the ceremony.  There are now a total of 12 traditional tertiaries in Post Falls.

It is truly a grace to see such numbers receive their clothing at the same time.  Let us pray and hope that the Third Order in Tradition will continue to grow if it pleases God.
